Safety Requirements

Safety Requirements by Volunteer Role

Little League Baseball requires a number of safety checks and certificates for all volunteers who have any interaction with the kids.

All volunteers need to register for a volunteer role on this website, and complete all the steps below before participating in Little League activities. If your role changes from an off field volunteer, to an on field volunteer you need to apply to be a Manager or Assistant Coach on this website.

Off Field Volunteer (Non Coach)

The following is required for all off field volunteers.

Background Check
Integrated with registration platform.
Note: This needs to be completed every single year.

Cardiac Arrest Certificate

Abuse Awareness Certificate

Manager and Coaches (On Field)

The following is required for all on field coaches.

Diamond Leader Certificate

Note: This only needs to be completed and uploaded one time.

Cardiac Arrest Certificate

What is required to be an “off-field volunteer?”

Upload your I.D. onto your SVLL account.

Background Check-Once your I.D. is verified by the Safety Officer, you will receive an email to complete the background check. Note: This needs to be renewed every season.

Use this link here to login to your account.

Go to “My account”

Select the ‘Volunteer” tab on the left

Select the edit icon next to your name

At the bottom of this page, you will see options to upload your certificate pictures.
