The SVLL Spring season runs from early March to early June, with closing day coinciding with the end of the school year. Generally, each team plays twice a week (one game during the week and one on Saturday) with the upper divisions (7 years olds and up) having practices 1-2 days per week (one on Sunday and maybe one during the week).
Sign-ups start in November of the year before, with discounts usually provided if done by mid-December. Tryouts (for kids 7 and over) take place in early January, with team drafts/assignments taking place at the end of the month, leaving ~6 weeks of practicing (usually twice a week) before the season starts.
Practices/games take place on the ball fields at Siltanen Park and Vine Hill Elementary school.
We also have a Fall Ball program. The details vary from year to year, but it remains constant that the emphasis in Fall Ball is skills development and building a love of the game. We do not have assigned teams, but sessions often include an intra-squad scrimmage game since we want them to have fun!

How do I find the Scotts Valley Little League fields?
See this map:
Are approved bats changing in 2018?
Yes. Please note that as of January 1, 2018, the new USA Baseball Bat Standard will be implemented. Little League-approved baseball bats that are approved for use for the 2017 season will no longer be acceptable for use in any Little League game or activity starting on January 1, 2018. See LittleLeague.org/batinfo and the EQUIPMENT tab above for details and more information.
How do I find out what my player's league age is?
You can use the LittleLeague.org League Age Calculator. You can also see this table of years and months of births and league ages for the 2019 season.
How do I turn off "Don't forget your upcoming events!" emails?
SportsEngine (who makes the software that runs our website) has added a new feature that sends notification emails for team practices and games. Unfortunately they have not (yet) given us the ability to turn them off by team or for all parents. Each parent or team manager must do this individually.
Update: SportsEngine has created a video explaining how to turn the notification emails off: share.vidyard.com/watch/wfUAwVevFX9ezkEqk4M9Z9
If this is not clear, contact SportsEngine for instructions on turning these emails off is via online chat. Go to their Contact Us page (https://help.sportsengine.com/customer/portal/emails/new) and click the START LIVE CHAT button.
As soon as anything changes we will post an update.
